Drawing on Nature Take a closer look at the natural world outside the museum doors. Choose a leaf, a flower, a rock, for careful examination, then use that object as inspiration for a work of art.

Go on a gallery hunt to see how many different kinds of animals are found in the paintings, pottery, and other objects on display.

Trail Day Explore the George Aiken Wildflower Trail, and help improve the trail through clean up and decoration. Paint “message stones” and make mosaic step tiles for the trail.

Museum Masks Use the ears of General David Robinson and the nose of Mae Sudyam Palmer, along with the eyes of Lumen Norton (all on display in the galleries) to create your own unique museum mask.
