The elegant new wing of the Bennington Museum is now available for private
rental for corporate meetings, workshops or dinners. Comprised of the Ada
Paresky Education Center and the Paul Paresky Museum Court, the space features
open-beam cathedral ceilings, natural wood floors and the original exterior
stone walls of the old museum.
The handsome and warm space takes advantage of the museum's natural setting in
the village of Old Bennington, the original 18th-century town settlement that
overlooks Vermont's Green Mountains. The exterior of the new addition recalls
19th-century shingle style carriage house architecture and reflects nearby
historic structures.
Over 1900 square feet of space can accommodate up to 150 people for meetings or
lectures, 180 for receptions, or 90 for sit-down dinners or buffets.
The museum can provide a list of pre-approved caterers for events and will
consider others, provided they meet museum criteria. A kitchen adjoins the
space.
To enhance your visit, guided tours of the galleries can be arranged for an
additional fee.
