| Description |
In 1832 the Vermont Glass Factory (see previous catalog entry) reopened as the Lake Dunmore Glass Company. Little is known about this enterprise except that it made window glass until approximately 1841. The only other glasshouse known to have operated in Vermont was the Lake Champlain Glass Company, located in Burlington, which made window glass and possibly bottles from 1847 until 1850. |
